A relatively young golf course, the Deer Park Golf Country Club was established in 1978 with the 18 hole Championship Course designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis. Surrounded by mature trees, which provide a sheltered and picturesque course setting, the course is also conveniently located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, just 2 minutes from the M8 motorway. On a clear day, Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat are visible; adding to the beautiful scenery.

Deer Park provides a relaxed and friendly environment to visitors and the course offers a great challenge to all levels of golfers. Upon arrival, you’ll notice the calm atmosphere as you are welcomed to Deer Park.

You’ll then head to the course to begin your round of golf where a challenging 6,727 yards from the championship tees awaits. The front nine, with its own mature features, is tree lined and set up with water hazards and well-positioned bunkers. Test your ability further on the back nine, with the course rising and falling with the undulating terrain.

After your round of golf, relax and enjoy the good traditional Scottish charm with a 2-course Golfer’s Tea. This includes a soup starter before a main of steak pie or fish and chips. All the food is locally sourced and freshly prepared daily by the experienced chefs and provides the perfect ending to your round of golf!
