Sound Engineering Experience, Glasgow

• Perfect experience for music lovers
• Learn to record a band
• Edit and mix tracks!

Have you ever wondered how to improve your home recordings or even where to start? This 2-hour or 4-hour course will help you do just that.

Let a fully qualified and professional sound engineer, and lecturer, guide you through the basics of the set-up, recording, mixing and mastering process. Each session is tailored to the individuals needs and experience with recording and will help guide you and solve any problems you have been encountering. So whether you have had any recording experience or not, we can help advance your skills.

After an introductory phone call/email, where we will assess your level, you will be invited into a fully operational professional studio and given the expert help you need. You will learn about microphones, recording techniques, how to mix and how to use all the technologies involved.

Sessions will be in 2-hour blocks. You can initially book 1 or 2 sessions. You will be given the opportunity to do some recording and/or mixing and can ask all the questions you want to help improve your own home recordings and skills. No experience is necessary as we can guide you from stage one if required. No matter your level, this experience can move you upwards.

This experience is for anyone interested in music and recording or for those looking to have a career in sound engineering. It can also assist those looking to study sound production at college.
