If you are an amateur photographer who would like some coaching on how to take the perfect photograph of some of St Andrew’s most iconic sites, or if you have an interest in photography but you aren’t sure how to get the most out of your camera yet, then this one on one, private tour is the ideal tour for you!

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your experienced and professional photographer who will act as a guide and tutor for the day. You will start by first discussing your level of competency and what you wish to get out of your experience, this will help your tutor filter the itinerary to suit you!

Together, you will explore some of the best-known sites in St Andrews alongside some of the lesser-known locations that this beautiful city has to offer. Only once you have captured the charm of St Andrews on your camera, you will venture down the coast of Fife for further tuition. Throughout the tour, you will develop the skills needed to take your very own stunning photographs by covering a variety of photographic techniques as well as developing great image composition.

You’ll be encouraged to try new things; if you shoot with a wide angle lens, try a bit of telephoto and vice versa. Or keep things simple and use one fixed focal length (prime) lens such as a 50mm and explore the possibilities of shooting very shallow depths of field. All photographic abilities are welcome, from absolute beginners to seasoned pros!

So get creative and by the end of the tour, you will have taken some awesome shots to ‘wow’ your friends and family with.
