A Round of Golf at The Carrick, Loch Lomond

This experience allows you to play a round of golf on the famous ‘Carrick Course’, part of Cameron House estate.  Designed by acclaimed golf course architect Doug Carrick who is more commonly celebrated for his Canadian courses, Cameron House invited him to design his first UK course.

Here you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Loch Lomond with Ben Lomond dominating in the north, a truly beautifully thought out location.  You’ll play 18 holes of beautiful parkland which are complemented by world-class facilities that play host to the Scottish Open and many other annual championships.

The course has been spectacularly designed on the fault lines between the Scottish Lowlands and Highlands and is made up of velvet greens and testing fairways. The first section, on the lowland side, is relatively flat as it hugs the west bank of Loch Lomond. The next 9 holes challenge even the more experienced golfer with heathland and sloping fairways guaranteed to make this section a bit trickier.  Expect to play a variety of pars on this 7, 082 yard course.

The Carrick also hosts an award-winning spa as well as excellent facilities including the ‘Claret Jug’ restaurant. Complimentary chauffeur transfers to and from Cameron House Hotel are available on request.
