This introductory experience offers an ideal gateway into the world of aviation for aspiring pilots.
Your journey begins with a 45-minute session in our custom-built Piper Tomahawk simulator. Designed around an actual airframe, it provides 100% realistic controls and state-of-the-art graphics for an authentic real-world experience, making it an excellent learning platform.
During the simulated flight, you will depart from Inverness Airport and fly north towards Easter Airfield, a training base for Piper Tomahawks. You’ll have the opportunity to practice various circuits and approaches before landing on a grass strip.
After gaining foundational skills in the simulator, you’ll be ready for your actual flight. This takes place from Easter Airfield and can include a variety of routes, depending on the booked aircraft time. You will experience the strong similarities to the simulator while also appreciating the unique thrill of real airborne flight.
Should you decide to pursue further flight training, this experience can count towards your pilot’s license.
