Introductory Flight for 1 person + observer – Cumbernauld Airport (4 seat plane)

Welcome aboard this amazing light aircraft experience from Cumbernauld Airport.

This experience allows you to experience the thrill of flying with an experienced pilot in a light aircraft. After an initial safety briefing, your pilot will taxi the aeroplane and perform the take off, he will then demonstrate some of the basic maneuvers required to fly a light aeroplane. Your pilot will point out some of the local features. Remember to bring your camera! This is a fantastic experience and certainly something you will remember.

Depending on air traffic control restrictions, you may fly around the Falkirk Wheel or alternatively, head west towards Loch Lomond. The aircraft’s panoramic windows allow you to view right around the world beneath you.

In the four seater airplane there is the opportunity for an observer to fly in the rear seat whilst you sit up front with the pilot. What better way to experience flying!

Flight time is approximately brakes off to brakes on with 20 minutes preparation

Restrictions:

Minimum age 12 and a maximum combined weight of 25 stone

Spectators:

One observer may sit in the rear of the plane during the flight and additional spectators can observe from the airport building
