Clay pigeon shooting is one of the most testing hand-to-eye coordination experiences in Scotland. Through the sight of your shotgun find, aim and fire at the clays, more difficult than it sounds. This is the ultimate target sport as you aim at your target which is flying through the air!

At the start of the experience you’ll receive a full safety briefing from the friendly, fully qualified shotgun safety officer. You’ll be given your safety gear and your equipment, namely your shotgun! The instructor will go through all the necessary techniques and safety training before you venture out to the clay pigeon trap. This experience is perfect for beginner to intermediate level.

You’ll each have 25 shots as you keep an eye out for the clay pigeons. They’ll come out of the undergrowth at different frequencies, speeds and directions to keep you on the game. Your hand-to-eye co-ordination and reaction times will be put to the test as you aim and fire at these fast moving targets.

This is a highly addictive sport that is great fun for everyone takes place just outside Portree on the misty Isle of Skye which is the perfect setting for this incredible sport.
