Try the unusual and fun sport of axe throwing! This experience was popular with men during the colonial period, but is now enjoyed by woman and children as well. This experience is perfect for beginner to intermediate level and is the ultimate stress reliever!

At the start of the session, your fully experienced instructor will provide all the necessary safety and basic training required for this challenging skill. You’ll be given your safety gear and your equipment, namely your axes! Using a wide variety of Throwing Axes, you’ll be shown the basics and techniques to help you hit the bullseye.

You’ll require both skill and a steady hand to direct the axe to the target. It’s a rewarding experience using your strength and once you’ve built up some confidence challenge the group and your instructor to a competition to see who can get the best score or how close to the target you can get. Upon mastering the basics your instructor will show you how to do a trick shot or two!

This experience takes place just outside Portree on the misty Isle of Skye which is the perfect setting for this incredible sport.
