Highland Cow experience

  • Meet traditional Highland Cows
  • Hand feed these stunning animals
  • Plenty of photo oppertunities
We are excited to offer you a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our magnificent Highland cattle. You will have the chance to stroke their fur, hand-feed them, and even feel their impressive horns.
You’ll interact with our large fold of breeding Highlanders and their young calves while learning about this hardy native breed and their role on our land. Discover their hierarchy and habits, and observe their strong family bonds and behaviors.
If you visit between April and summer, during our calving season, you might even be lucky enough to witness a new arrival taking its first steps under its mother’s watchful eye.
This experience offers abundant photographic opportunities as you hand-feed, stroke, and groom their distinctive fur, or as they majestically pose amidst the stunning panoramic scenery.
Please remember to wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, such as boots, outdoor shoes, or trainers, as this is an outdoor experience. All food for the cattle will be provided.
We look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable encounter with these adorable animals.
