Situated near the sea front of North Berwick, The School of Floristry is the only year round floristry school in Scotland. On this extended full day experience you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills or refine existing ones as the course is perfect for complete beginners to those with some experience.

Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by your friendly tutor and shown in to the school which will be set up with everything you will need for the day. The tutors have had training at the internationally-acclaimed McQueens of London and the City and Guilds. They are passionate about their craft and they aim to provide high quality tuition in a relaxed and informal setting.

There are several classes to select from, whether you would like to do more of an introduction to floristry or look at wedding decorations and flowers. You’ll also be taken through the history of floristry and receive some useful hints and tips.

The workshop is a fun and creative way to learn more about the art of floristry as you and your ‘classmates’ will be shown the best methods for arranging flowers and how to make the perfect bouquet. You’ll discuss what flowers and textures work well together as well as what is in season.

There is tea, coffee and light refreshments available throughout the day and once you have finished your class you’ll get to take your creation home with you!
