Fishing Trip for two, Islay

Islay is a beautiful island off the west coast of Scotland. It boasts an amazing coastline and an incredible array of wildlife; it is the perfect place for a spot of fishing!

Whether you’re a complete novice or a fan of fishing looking for a fresh challenge, this is the perfect experience for you. During your trip there will be the opportunity to catch an array of fish including; tope, mackerel and skate.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your friendly guide who will kit you out in all the necessary equipment (which will include your rod and hooks). Then, once fully equipped, it’s time to take to the waters. Your expert guide knows the best spots to go to find the fish depending on the time of year and your trip may cover anywhere from the 600ft cliffs off the Mull of Oa to Churn island. Once in a good location you’ll be shown the best technique and bait to catch your fish. Your guide will be on hand to help with any questions you have and make sure to look out for any other wildlife in the area!

At the end of your trip you’ll be able to take some of your catch home! This experience is a fun way to spend an evening in Islay – a great gift for all ages.

Minimum age 5, under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Dates are subject to availability, usually takes place in the evening
