Welcome aboard this amazing extended introductory light aircraft flying and flight simulator experience from Glasgow International Airport. This experience will introduce you to the thrill of actually flying a light aircraft over Scotland as well as presenting the basic controls used by todays airline pilots on a state of the art flight simulator!

First, you’ll get an introduction to the flight simulator. This is a great way to initiate yourself into what a pilot would be looking at and what they would need to be aware of and understand to fly in various weather conditions. The simulator environment offers real-world controls and a fully immersive screen which gives a truly amazing experience. 

Next you’ll be taken through a 20 minute safety briefing and familiarisation of the aircraft. You’ll be asked if there is anything you want to see specifically in the area for a fly-past as part of your experience. Then you’ll be ready for your 50 minute flight! Onboard, your experienced pilot will do pre-flight checks, start the plane, taxi to the runway and take off.

Once in the air, the plane will climb to around 3000 feet at around 120mph. At cruising altitude you’ll be offered the opportunity to take the controls of the aircraft whilst under the safe supervision of the experienced pilot.

With this voucher you’ll also receive 3 months membership to the flying club. As your flying time counts towards your Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL), this is the perfect gift for those looking for an introduction to flying!
