Dolphin RIB trip for two, Inverness

This is a fast, adrenaline fuelled trip along the Moray Coast and a fun and thrilling way to get out on the water! With this trip, you’ll have the opportunity to spot some local wildlife as well as see the beautiful coastal scenery of Scotland.

Upon arrival, you’ll both be met by your skipper and the rest of your crew for the experience. You’ll be provided with splash proof gear to wear, but it is recommended to wear warm layers and flat closed shoes. There will be a short safety briefing and then, once you are ready to go, you’ll head out to the purpose-built vessel – ‘Dolphin Mischief’.

Departing from Inverness Marina and sailing under the Kessock Bridge, you’ll then travel through the narrows at Chanonry Point and out into the Moray Firth off the coast at Ardersier, before returning. During the trip, your friendly guide will be on hand to point out places of interest and some of the history of the area. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have and provide fun facts about the dolphins and wildlife of the area.

The crew will know the best places for the wildlife and during your trip you and your fellow passengers will be looking out for the delightful array of wildlife including seals, otters and seabirds like cormorants, terns, and guillemots. The stars, of course, are the Bottlenose Dolphins and their smaller cousins the Harbour Porpoises that inhabit the area. You’ll be able to find out more about the dolphin population in the Inner Moray Firth and try to catch glimpses of these amazing animals.
