This is the tour of a lifetime as you experience the thrill of flying in a Cessna 172 aircraft around the beautiful isles of Scotland including Kerrara, Lismore and Mull.

Beginning at Oban Airport, you’ll be met and introduced to your pilot and other passengers before heading over to the aircraft. Once seated and comfortable, you’ll be equipped with a headset that will enable you to talk as well as hear the friendly and informative commentary during the flight.

Taking off, you’ll begin by heading south. On route, you’ll be able to admire Oban, Gateway to the Isles, as well as the spectacular McCaig Tower, a prominent feature that sits above the town.

Turning around and tracking north, you’ll view the splendid Isle of Mull, one of Scotland’s largest islands before continuing towards Lismore, which historically was a major centre for Celtic Christianity. From there you’ll reach Port Appin, a picturesque village which overlooks a host of tiny islands. Afterwards, fly over a tiny rock island which is home to the ruined Castle Stalker.

However, this tour is all about The Bridge Over The Atlantic, more formally known as ‘Clachan Bridge’. It spans Clachan Sound and connects the West Coast of Scotland to the Island of Seil. As both ends of the sound are in the Atlantic, it is considered part of the ocean, giving rise to the bridge’s nickname.
