Experience the ultimate outdoor adventure with this family farm and alpaca trekking experience. On this day out, you’ll get to meet a variety of farm animals, followed by an alpaca trek with your friendly alpaca companions!

Located in the stunning hills of the Scottish Borders, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all about the lives and adventures of the farm’s many inhabitants: you’ll meet and greet the horses and chickens, as well as have the chance to feed the ducks and learn all about everyday farm life.

Afterwards, you’ll each meet your alpaca companion, learning to put their halter on and how to handle them before heading out on a trek. The alpacas are all boys and they love to be fussed over and love to be out walking! Plenty of time will be given for photographs, questions and taking in the spectacular views.

Trekking gives you the perfect opportunity to spend time with these lovely animals whilst taking in the countryside’s scenic landscape. You will trek over hills and gravel tracks, so make sure you are kitted out in suitable clothing. We recommend boots or wellies and cosy clothes.
