Welcome on board this helicopter scenic tour of the Forth Bridges and Firth of Forth. This helicopter sight seeing trip is an amazing and different way to experience Scotland from above, on board a luxury helicopter.

Departing from Ingliston, you’ll fly overland towards the forth bridges, over Edinburgh Airport towards South Queensferry. Flying along the coastline see the Forth Railway Bridge. This Victorian Engineering feat opened in March 1890 and is widely regarded as one of the engineering marvels of the world.

You’ll also fly across to the more recent (1964) Forth Road Bridge, which carries traffic North from Edinburgh into Fife, as well as the new Forth Bridge construction project, due for completion in 2017.

You’ll also see the landmark Hopetoun House, one of Scotland’s largest stately homes on the southern shore of the river. Built in 1701 for the Earl of Hopetoun the property sits in over 6500 acres including walled gardens and lawns. The best way to appreciate the scale and layout of the house is by helicopter. If you are lucky you’ll also see one of the many shipping movements in this area, including cruise liners anchored in the Firth.
