The Tank Driving Experience

• Drive a tank that has previously served with the elite British Army

• Learn how to drive these caterpillar-tracked vehicles under the supervision of the tank commander

This tank driving experience brings you face to face with some serious military metal. You’ll be at the command of an ex-British army tank for a thrilling driving experience like no other!

At the start of the experience you’ll get your field briefing before getting dressed in camouflage for the mission ahead. Venturing out onto the tank range you’ll witness the sheer power and determination of this awe-inspiring machine.

In the pilot’s seat, you’ll learn to drive the tank across terrain best suited to the 432 APC tank, where it feels most at home! The course has been built to reflect the challenging terrain that the tank was built for. Driving through taxing water courses over steep inclines, expect to be at the helm for around 20 minutes each.

You will also get to experience riding in the crew compartment at the rear of the tank. Even as the passenger this is great fun as you experience riding in the tank. All in, expect to spend up to two hours on site and have a blast while you’re there.

Cameras are a must and the viewing gallery is perfect for friends and family to watch and take photos.

Minimum age 17. Driver height over 5 ft.

Spectators:

Welcome to observe or spectators can ride in the tank for £5 (payable on the day)
