Get your hands on some modern military heavy metal!

The Pinzgauer is one of the most capable all-terrain vehicles ever made. While not as fast on-road as an American Humvee, it can carry more troops, and move faster over rough trails. It can tow 5,000kg on the road or 1,500kg over rough ground.

It has a range of almost 250 miles in its standard configuration making it an extremely useful piece of hardware.

The Pinzgauer was designed to be reliable and easy to fix.

These units have been returned recently from use with the British Army in Afghanistan. They are configured to carry 4 passengers and have 2 gun positions.

Experience these on our course at Bridge of Weir.

This extended drive will get you more familiar with the controls and feel of the vehicle.

Experience duration 1 hour, drive time around 30 minutes

Weather:

Runs selected weekends all year round. Can be done in most weather conditions (snow may affect the event)

Restrictions:

Minimum age 17. Driver height over 5 ft.

Spectators:

Welcome to observe or spectators can ride in the vehicle for £10 (payable on the day)
