Experience Gift Scotland was started in 2018 to promote the flying school at Glasgow Airport which is owned by our Director Allan Falconer.
The demise of another voucher company which had been a supplier to the flying school created the opportunity to market flying experiences.
It was decided to structure the business in a manner to protect our customers while only working with the best suppliers to ensure we provide the best experiences throughout Scotland.
- Customers – Customers money is held in a registered ‘Client Account’ and is ringfenced until the experience is taken. It is not used to run our daily business which is historically how most voucher companies have been operating. This protects our customers purchase. Recipients have the option to exchange their experience if the gift they receive is not exactly what they want.
- Suppliers –We only promote exactly what our suppliers offer. That way our customers get the best experiences on offer and are not left disappointed. We work only a commission basis which gives our suppliers the assurance they are getting the results from our marketing and promotion. We do not pressurize suppliers to cut their prices and margins. We feel it is more important to ensure customers get great value and will return and recommend family, friends, and colleagues.
Our structure has worked well and the feedback from our customers, recipients and suppliers supports our intention to continue without change.
We will continue to look for additional experiences and suppliers. However, we will only work with those who share our passion to provide a quality value service.
While 2021 continues with the Covid challenges for our suppliers we are confident a resolve is on the horizon. We look forward to our broad range of activities restarting in a safe enviroment.
